KOTA KINABALU: Ketiadaan UMNO dalam senarai parti yang sama-sama membentuk Gabungan Rakyat Sabah secara rasmi tidak akan membawa kepada ketidakstabilan politik di Sabah.
“Dalam gabungan rasmi ini, kita hanya ada empat parti manakala, BN-UMNO adalah rakan kita dalam kerajaan GRS di peringkat negeri,” katanya dalam sidang akhbar selepas mempengerusikan mesyuarat pertama GRS hari ini. “Kemungkinan besar budaya pemikiran politik agak berbeza dengan di sana jadi, apa yang berlaku di Semenanjung Malaysia tidak akan memberi impak yang boleh memudaratkan keadaan politik di Sabah terutama GRS,” katanya.
