Meet ‘Little Huat’: Grab’s new AR tiger that you can send to your loved ones for Chinese New Year, along with a digital gift card from GrabGifts.

With the Lunar New Year approaching, many of us are starting to think about giving gifts and Angpau. In this new technological age, why use actual Ringgit bills when you can send a digital gift that can be used right away?

GrabGifts allows you to send online Grab gift vouchers to your loved ones across Southeast Asia. This includes Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines. To access the feature, you can click on the ‘Gifts’ tile in the Grab app. Another thing you can do is customise your digital gift card by writing a message and choosing a different gift card design depending on the occasion. Now, you can attach Grab’s new Lucky Tiger ‘Little Huat’, and the little tiger friend will be animated in AR.
