Police personnel on motorcycles were on their way to raid an entertainment centre when a vehicle suddenly stopped in front of Suite Vida Bukit Ceylon in Jalan Changkat Raja Chulan at 12.50am yesterday.
A female passenger then opened the vehicle’s rear door, hitting a policewoman on a motorcycle, who was coming from behind. Acting Dang Wangi OCPD Supt Rudy Abdullah said the policewoman was thrown off her motorcycle and injured her arms. “The Grab driver alighted from the vehicle and shouted at his passenger. He insisted he was not at fault for suddenly stopping his vehicle without even signalling before dropping off his passenger,” he said.
Supt Rudy said the police personnel tried to calm the situation but the driver was not cooperating and even tried to leave the scene.
