Govt to consider flood mitigation in Kelantan, Terengganu

THE government is willing to consider flood mitigation measures in Kelantan and Terengganu, despite projects requiring a serious amount of funding. Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said, based on evaluation, Sungai Golok requires RM700 million in flood mitigation funding, while a similar project in Besut requires RM400 million.
