The government is studying the possibility of introducing an act for cybersecurity, said Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
The e-Sovereignty Committee, chaired by Wan Azizah, is the highest body in national cybersecurity management and is responsible for the drawing up of government policies on the planning and implementation of cybersecurity strategies.
The Personal Data Protection Act needs to be amended before talking about Cybersecurity Strategy/ Act. Prof ABM
