Goldman Sachs Singapore to pay govt US$122 million

Goldman Sachs Singapore must pay US$122 million to the Singapore government’s consolidated fund within five working days from the date of the issuance of the conditional warning. – EPA pic, October 23, 2020.

GOLDMAN Sachs Singapore Pte will pay US$122 million to the Singapore government for its role in the 1Malaysia Development Bhd bond offerings deal. This is according to a joint statement by the republic’s Commercial Affairs Department , the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Attorney-General’s Chambers issued early this morning.
