SEREMBAN: Malaysian youth should be given opportunities in every sphere, including politics, economy and development, because the old way of doing things is no longer relevant, says Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan .

"Developed countries are ready to have a prime minister or a president as young as 35, and we cannot be seen to be denying the potential of our youth. Mohamad, who is the Rantau assemblyman, said the role of youths in the political arena or party could also no longer be delayed. He said the structure of the Malaysian economy was also old, and more should be done to ensure it was driven by the most advanced technologies."Companies such as Airbnb, Grab, Gojek and OYO were all set up based on the ideas of adventurous youths.
