Give poor cash vouchers instead of food hampers, urges Penang rep

BAGAN assemblyman M. Satees has called for Penang’s poor to be given cash vouchers instead of food hampers. He said the practice of giving out such hampers, especially during the fasting month and festive seasons, by welfare bodies like Zakat Penang is outdated.
