PETALING JAYA: The girlfriend of a suspected snatch thief has been detained by the police after they found a stolen phone on her.

The police detained her after follow-up investigations to a snatch theft that occurred at an eatery in Sea Park here on July 1.

In the incident, which occurred in 2019, a victim lost RM3,000 after revealing his bank details to the scammers.
