Giliran wilayah Anhui pula jalani 'lockdown' akibat Covid-19

BEIJING: Seramai 1.7 juta orang dikenakan perintah berkurung di wilayah Anhui selepas pihak berkuasa kesihatan mengesan hampir 300 kes jangkitan Covid-19 hari ini.

Lonjakan kes itu berlaku ketika ekonomi China mula ‘mahu pulih’ selepas terjejas teruk akibat perintah berkurung di Shanghai dan Beijing sejak beberapa bulan lalu. Dua daerah di Anhui iaitu Sixian dan Lingbi dikenakan perintah berkurung pada minggu lalu, menyaksikan penduduk boleh keluar dari rumah mereka sekiranya sudah melakukan ujian dan keputusan negatif.

Anhui melaporkan 287 kes jangkitan baharu hari ini, termasuk 258 yang tidak mempunyai gejala, menjadikan jumlah keseluruhan lebih 1,000.Strategi sifar Covid-19 yang dilaksanakan China dilihat ‘memberi kesan’ terhadap pemulihan ekonomi negara ini apabila banyak wilayah dan daerah ditutup apabila jangkitan dikesan.
