Kesemua suspek berjaya diberkas polis antara 15 Mei lalu hingga hari ini apabila cuba melepasi pemeriksaan di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur dan KLIA 2 bersama bekalan dadah methamphetamine dan ketamine yang dibalut pada badan dan disembunyikan dalam bagasi.
Beliau berkata, siasatan awal pihaknya mendapati, kesemua suspek ditawarkan pekerjaan melalui Facebook, WeChat dan Messenger iaitu sebagai penghantar barang dengan upah lumayan antara RM5,000 hingga RM6,000 setiap orang. “Ketika di hotel, badan suspek akan dibalut dengan bungkusan dadah dan mereka diarah ke KLIA dan KLIA 2 dengan kenderaan e-hailing selain pas penerbangan yang diuruskan oleh sindiket,” katanya pada sidang media, hari ini.
Dalam tangkapan terbaru, masing-masing 5.20 dan 6.50 pagi hari ini, anggota dan pegawai Bahagian Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah KLIA menahan dua lelaki tempatan selepas menemui bungkusan keras yang dibalut pada badan suspek.
