PETALING JAYA: Now that Parliament has been dissolved, Malaysians should go to the polls in a civilised manner, says Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu .
The caretaker Youth and Sports Minister, who is also the Tambun MP, said that although the Cabinet was not informed of the dissolution date earlier, he accepts the decision."I accept the fact that the Prime Minister has decided to dissolve Parliament today although I find it odd that he did not inform his own Cabinet first before the public announcement.
"I hope and invite everyone to continue democracy ... in a civilised manner. Let us be courteous and well-behaved as we go to the polls," he said in an immediate response to the Prime Minister's 3pm announcement of the dissolution. Ismail Sabri said Parliament had been dissolved with the consent of the King, paving the way for the 15th General Election.
