KUANTAN: Pahang police are urging those involved in the 15th General Election (GE15) campaign not to disturb the country's democratic process after several campaign posters were found vandalised.

State police chief Comm Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said a report had been received from the chairman of a non-governmental organisation over stickers of the NGO being pasted on the campaign posters of a political party.Comm Ramli also reminded political party members to control their supporters so they do not commit any acts that break the law.

On Wednesday , Save Malaysia, Stop Lynas chairman Tan Bun Teet lodged a police report denying that the group was the one behind the vandalism of several campaign posters of Pakatan Harapan candidates. Likewise, a billboard of Semambu state seat candidate Chan Chun Kuang at Jalan Dato Lim Hoe Lek had been vandalised with the same stickers.
