The Fujifilm X-T50 was recently unveiled at the company's X Summit Sydney event. Judging from the name, it looks to be the successor to the X-T30 and its variants, but it comes with a price tag that's much closer to the X-T5 instead.
According to The Verge, the Fujifilm X-T50 comes with a 40MP X-Trans CMOS 5 HR APS-C sensor, similar to the aforementioned X-T5 and the X-H2. There's also a familiar 3-inch, two-way tilt rear LCD, a 7-stop in-body image stabilisation, and continuous shooting of still up to 8fps with its mechanical shutter. For videos, we're looking at 6.2K 30fps, 4K 60fps and 1080p 240fps videos, and in Apple ProRes RAW as well as BDM RAW. For storage, the camera takes in a single UHS-II SD card.
According to the official Fujifilm Malaysia Facebook page, the Fujifilm X-T50 is now available for pre-order until 16 June, after which it will probably be generally available. The body alone will set you back RM7,998, but you can also have it together with an XC15-45mm kit lens for RM8,498, or with an XF16-50mm kit lens for RM9,998.As you'd expect, if you do place a pre-order for the Fujifilm X-T50, you may also get free gifts worth up to RM2,952.
