Fuel prices unchanged for coming week

THE retail prices of RON97, RON95 and diesel will remain unchanged for the week from tomorrow.

The Finance Ministry, in a statement today, said RON97 remains RM3.35/litre, RON95 is RM2.05/litre and diesel is RM2.15/litre. “To protect consumers from global oil price increases, the government will maintain the ceiling prices of RON95 and diesel, even though the market price for both products has increased beyond this,” it said.

The ministry said the government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people. – Bernama, April 19, 2023.
