KUANTAN: Four individuals, including three women, were each fined RM500 after pleading guilty to endangering others by cooking using a gas stove at a petrol station in Genting Highlands on May 12.
They were accused of committing the offences at about 1.30am at a petrol station in Taman Cendawan near Genting Highlands on May 12. "Don't you know it's dangerous to cook at a petrol station? And then you uploaded it on social media," she said.All the accused were convicted under Section 336 of the Penal Code, read together with Section 34 of the same Act, which carries a maximum prison sentence of three months, a fine of up to RM500, or both.
