KLUANG : Four friends were killed after the car they were travelling in crashed into an electric pole at KM24 of the Jalan Renggam-Simpang Renggam here.“Initial investigations showed that the car was driven by a university student Muhammad Adib Ahmad Shahfarin while three other friends Muhammad Ziyad Azmi, Ahmad Manan Zaini and Nor Aminul Fitri Nor Azmi were travelling with him.
“All victims are aged 21. They were heading towards Renggam from Simpang Renggam when the driver suddenly lost control of the wheel. “The car then veered into the side of the road before crashing into an electric pole,” he said in a statement on Friday . ACP Bahrin said Muhammad Adib, Muhammad Ziyad and Ahmad Manan suffered serious head injuries due to the impact of the collision and were pronounced dead at the site.
“Nor Aminul died while being treated at the red zone of the Enche' Besar Hajjah Khalsom Hospital,” he said.
