Hasni said this when met after attending a special Johor Umno meeting chaired by state chairman Mohamed Khaled at its office here on Saturday . When asked to comment on the crowded challenge for the posts, the Simpang Renggam MP and Benut assemblyman added that it was good for the party."Even though there are some quarters making negative remarks about Umno lately, I see that many leaders coming forward to offer themselves as candidates is a positive sign," said Hasni.
"This shows that the leaders that we have now are not leaving Umno as they have the confidence that the party can still play a major contribution in the nation's future," he added.
