The 55-year-old Datuk was arrested in Ipoh at about 4pm on Friday and was brought to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission headquarters for questioning.
It is learnt that his arrest was in connection with an earlier arrest of three individuals - including a chief executive officer of a bank subsidiary - for alleged corruption.MACC investigators had obtained an additional three-day remand for the CEO while the other two were released on a RM15,000 bail each.
