KUALA LUMPUR: The number of flood victims in Johor, Selangor, Kelantan, Sarawak and Perak was reported to have decreased, while the flood situation in Pahang has improved as of 9pm Friday (Nov 18).

, the number of flash flood victims dropped to 283 people as at 8pm Friday compared to 289 people this morning, following the closure of a temporary relief centre at Dewan Utama Kampung Ithnin Maarof, Kluang.

Some 16 PPS were still open, namely six in Sepang, four in Kuala Selangor, three in Klang, two in Sabak Bernam and one in Kuala Langat., the number of flood evacuees in Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas dropped to 667 people from 234 families as at 8pm, compared to 1,053 people from 364 families in the morning.

Three PPS were closed, namely Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Sungai Baru Trong, Larut Matang dan Selama; Dewan Orang Ramai Kuak Luar, Hulu Perak and Dewan Orang Ramai Kampung Piandang, Kinta, taking the number of PPS currently operating to 10.
