KUALA LUMPUR: A 70-year-old man was injured after he was trapped inside a house following a landslide at Jalan Palimbayan, Sungai Penchala, here on Saturday (Dec 18).

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the incident occurred at about 12.40am Sunday .

"The victim was trapped in one of the houses and rescued by Fire and Rescue Department personnel," he said in a statement Sunday."We are not sure exactly how many victims are affected, but all the victims in the area have been relocated to the houses of their relatives and friends in Sungai Penchala," he said."Those with information on landslides or other natural disasters should contact Brickfields police at 03-2297 9222 or their nearest police station," he said.
