My bestfriend doing her pupilage at Kuantan and her pay is RM500 only. That’s like free labour for the law firm... 🙃

Toxic setter for a pay.. and this will be continue to future generation ahead if all agree with this statement.. sad comfort seat she sitting on. I never heard lawyer charges such a cheap fees on their client. Excluding those fight for public interest…

Disgoarsting shet. “Does not take into consideration the financial capacity of smaller law firms?” Then don’t go into business la, losers. The world is just and fair for both employees and employers. Deal with it.

Ya,small firm low s&p case

Chinese saying, want the horse to run, yet don't want to feed the horse. ( 要馬兒跑,又不要馬兒吃草)

Evil.

If dont have financial capability then dont take any chambee. Want cheap labour only haiya..

one by one sector employers revealing their unwillingness to let people live life happily

2016, chambering kat taiping perak, gaji rm800 per month.. firm tu ada seorang peguam + 3 kerani.. office kecik je. Masuk office terus meja kerani, pastu pintu bos. Tu je. That was 6 years ago + dekat bandar kecil. Sekarang 2022, and you can't even increase it to rm1200? Tf?

How much are you paid per month?

Karen being Karen 😅

If manual labourers in Kelantan, Terengganu or whatever 'low income states' can have basic minimum wage, what is the validity of your excuse for law firms who can't even provide minimum wage for pupils? This is an utter disappointment.

Nope. Lower chambering period to 3 months. After all we own a degree / pass CLP/ UK BAR. If they can't pay the bare min at least stop making us your slave. We can learn like how we did during Degree etc. Either pay us min wage for 9 months or chamberin max 3 months. U choose

Can sense the very same idiotic vibe as the BEM_Engineers

Here’s an idea - scrap the need for pupillage. Law firms must recognize the value of our graduates and develop them to contribute to our democracy and rule of law, not take advantage of our graduates because of this gatekeeping requirement.

When u see what the bosses bill, you tell la whether they can afford ma.

Karen being a Karen, instead of making min wage the scapegoat, ask why the firms aren’t profitable? Surely something is wrong if 75% of firms rely on cheap labour to operate? Higher wages should encourage efficiency, productivity & automation, not dismissed as a threat to profit.

imanzarazafar throwback sunday ke cane ni?

Viewers of this video, please bare in mind, that the minimum wage being asked for is RM1200 ah. RM1200, not 3k 4K. Also don’t lose sight of the subtle threat - “pupils need law firms to chamber” “they might not themselves find a place to chamber in”

Kalau tak mampu takyah la hire pupil?
