KUALA LUMPUR: Almost RM1mil worth of drugs were seized and five people arrested following a series of raids in Batu Caves and Jalan Ipoh.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from the Narcotic Crimes Investigation Department arrested a 19-year-old after stopping his car near Jalan Ipoh at 9.40am on April 22.

“Initial investigations showed the suspect is involved in the distribution of Ecstasy, Erimin 5 and ketamine since last October, ” he said yesterday.
