Jalan Perak Fire Station chief A'azelan Hassan said the 30-year-old victim, who was hiking with her friends, had fallen and injured herself.
"A team of nine firemen were dispatched to the location after receiving a distress call at 11.11am. They arrived at the location about 25 minutes later," he said in a statement Saturday. A'azelan said when the rescuers arrived, they found that the victim had suffered injuries to her right leg.The victim was sent to hospital for treatment by the Emergency Medical Response Services unit.
