Kuala Lumpur City Hall announced yesterday it had renamed Jalan Raja Laut 1 to Jalan Palestin.
PETALING JAYA: Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa today said Jalan Raja Laut 1 in Kuala Lumpur will not be renamed Jalan Palestin. Kuala Lumpur City Hall yesterday said it had renamed Jalan Raja Laut 1 to Jalan Palestin and that this was symbolic of Malaysia’s support for Palestine. “The mayor will find a more appropriate road to be named Jalan Palestin,” said Annuar on his Twitter account today.DBKL had said the proposal to name a road Jalan Palestin was brought up during the annual Quds ceremony held at Dataran DBKL last year, during which the Federal Territories ministry requested DBKL to rename a road in Kuala Lumpur.
Please consider of including Jalan Lebanon, Jalan Syria, Jalan Yemen, Jln Rohingya, Jalan Bangla and Jalan Otak Tak Udang. Also consider Jalan Shit Hole.
What a shame.. cant believe our government can just kecoh2 because of road names Just a freaking road name man.. NBTD
Bloody idiots. There are new roads being built around kl with new development. Just take one of it and call it Jalan Palestin so DBKL doesn’t need to waste people’s money with feeble excuse to get publicity &allow that bloody non kl mp a chance to talk & disturb KLites
