Financial aid programme for IPT students, assistance rate for disabled expected next year, says higher education minister

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 16 — A new financial aid programme for students of higher learning institutions known as KPT Ihsan and an increase in the allowance rate of the Financial Support for the Disabled are expected to take effect next year.

She said KPT Ihsan is a one-off financial aid programme for IPT students to purchase devices, pay examination and research fees as well as settle their outstanding tuition fees.
