Final amendment report of draft KLSP 2040 can be obtained at DBKL’s website

THE PUBLIC can get the final amendment report of the draft Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2040 via Kuala Lumpur City Hall's official website atDBKL said in a statement that it will be organising engagement sessions with the public and stakeholders on the amendments.

"This is following the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's statement that the gazetting of the KLSP2040 will be postponed until May 31. "The engagement sessions will be held to notify the people on the amendments made to the plan based on the public's feedback and suggestions, recommendations by the public hearing committee, current government policies as well as feedback from Federal Territories Planning Advisory Board members.On Saturday, Anwar said he would delay the gazetting of the plan to allow for further engagement sessions as per the Malaysia Madani concept.

This is following the request of non-governmental organisations and residents groups such as Coalition of Kuala Lumpur Residents Associations+ and Save Kuala Lumpur for the gazetting of the draft KLSP2040 to be postponed as they had found new changes to the plan which were not made known to the public.

They want the additional changes as well as policies and strategic directions to the revised draft to be made public so they can give their feedback.
