Fiery debate over smoking ban

To be sure, we're at least 30 years too late on banning smoking in eateries and public areas, as we already knew cigarette smokes could cause cancer since early 80s.

Just shows this is a weak, pompous state govt and Federal should and do not have to pally with such immature politicians. What about bigger challenges ahead? Can't even agree on not lighting up.

Yo, please grow up! We need to educate people not to smoke as the No smoking ban is being enforced? How about we educate people not to rape, molest, take drugs, drink alcohol etc Blatant excuses. Makes our society look like spoon fed and weaklings ....

Instead Tiong should let us know who doesn’t know the effects smoking or 2nd hand smoke bring to us, you think we are in the 50s’

Educate? Come on lah... Stop manja2 or pamper these people. Act strictly aje this is why we are always lacking behind if compare wiz sg. Once their implement their laws or rules all citizens must obey. Here, have to take care of the citizen heart first afraid their will unhappy🙈
