“Those we have agreed on, has been announced by the Prime Minister’s Office, ” Shafie told reporters after attending the launch of his wife Datin Seri Shuryani Shuaib’s cookbook “Curry Leaves” by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Christina Liew on Tuesday . On the state level, he said that Sabah has appointed a company to take necessary measures in the return of Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd back to the state government, and also look into the technical issues.
Many more issues are still on the discussion table including 40% of the federal revenue derived from the state that should be returned to the state, as well oil royalty, Shafie said.“For federal revenue from the state, we need an in-depth scrutiny as we do not have any statistics on how much federal revenue is earned from Sabah.
