Father, brothers of Easter bombings mastermind killed in shootout, says report

THE father and two brothers of the alleged mastermind of the Easter bombings in Sri Lanka were among the 15 killed in a shootout with security forces on Friday, Reuters reports today.

The report, quoting a relative of Zahran Hashim, the suspected brain behind the deadly attacks, said Mohamed Hashim and his two sons Zainee Hashim and Rilwan Hashim died in their hideout after a gun battle with security forces.
