Ex-employee sues Norway oilfield firm over MACC probe gag, says report

Aker Solutions, the Norwegian owner of the world's largest drilling rig, has been sued by an ex-employee over the firm’s court actions to stop her from speaking to Malaysian authorities about its ‘alleged improper business practices’ in connection with Petronas. – AFP, December 30, 2020.

A MALAYSIAN is suing her ex-employer, Norway’s largest oilfied service company, over a gag order that she said prevented her from talking to anti-corruption investigators about the firm’s business dealings with national oil firm Petronas,Aker Solutions has denied the charges issued by Seetha Kumarasamy, formerly the company’s legal director.
