: ‘Etika Teras Kewartawanan Mapan’ has been chosen as the theme of this year’s National Journalists’ Day celebration slated to be held in Kuching, Sarawak, from May 25 to 27.
Present were Deputy Minister Teo Nie Ching, Communications Ministry deputy secretary-general Nik Kamaruzaman Nik Husin, Malaysian National News Agency chief executive officer Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin and Sarawak Public Communication Unit director Samuel Simon. The HAWANA 2024 logo has the four colours found on the Malaysian flag, namely red, blue, and yellow, symbolising cultural and racial diversity, and depicting the three regions, Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak, that form Malaysia.
