NSTcarsbikesandtrucks: Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook said electric feeder bus trial service, which was delivered via an agreement between Hino Motor Sales Malaysia and Rapid Bus will encourage more people to use public transport.

The service, which was delivered via an agreement between Hino Motor Sales Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd started about a week ago, was introduced on a trial basis and is expected to run for several months.

At only seven-metres long, this people carrier is able to zoom across high traffic areas and narrow streets more easily than the regular, over 12-metre feeder buses. Loke said the trial run was an effort to make it more convenient for residents to take public transport and increase ridership.
