TAWAU: A 69-year-old woman who was reportedly locked in her home was found safe but weak on Saturday at Batu 5, Jalan Kinabutan Tiku.

Seven firefighters from the Tawau Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 3.52 p.m.Police officers on the location gained entry into the house before the team arrived.

The Tawau Fire and Rescue Station team assisted by lifting the woman onto a stretcher and carrying her to the ambulance.
