PETALING JAYA: Strength in depth is needed to sustain a strong challenge in the Malaysia Cup and Sarawak United are glad that their reserves are stepping up to the plate.

Coach E. Elavarasan is excited to see the overall strength of his squad in the Cup campaign as they currently top Group A with six points thanks to their victories over Penang and Pahang .

“Besides the tactical change, I’m satisfied with the commitment shown especially those who have taken over the positions of our key players,” said Elavarasan. “I hope this continues because it would greatly boost our confidence for the rest of the competition.”
