IPOH: Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon will work towards getting a new school built in Proton City, Tanjung Malim.

Dr Mah said there were requests for a school to be built there and agreed that it would benefit locals.

"The construction of a school is needed seeing that Proton's operation there will be fully operational in 2024," he said on his Facebook page on Saturday . "I will work towards getting the request approved as it is for the benefit of the people in Proton City," he added. Dr Mah was with Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali earlier to visit the vaccination centre in there.Dr Mah also called on the people to remain patient as the government is working to ensure everyone is vaccinated as soon as possible.
