Tan Kok wai berterima kasih kepada kerajaan China kerana memahami keperluan dan cabaran kewangan yang dihadapi Malaysia.

DEZHOU CITY: Penyambungan semula projek Laluan Rel Pantai Timur akan mengukuhkan hubungan dua hala antara Malaysia dan China serta meningkatkan lagi hubungan ekonomi sedia ada, kata Duta Khas Malaysia ke China, Tan Kok Wai.

“Selepas beberapa bulan mengadakan rundingan, kerajaan China memahami keadaan itu dan juga disebabkan oleh hubungan diplomatik kukuh yang telah terjalin antara China dan Malaysia 45 tahun lalu sejak 1974. Pejabat Perdana Menteri pada Jumaat mengumumkan Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd dan China Communications Construction Company Ltd memeterai perjanjian tambahan yang membuka jalan bagi menyambung semula projek ECRL.
