KUALA LUMPUR: Election Commission chief Azhar Harun has praised the government and the Opposition for their work and support in discussing various aspects of the Constitution (Amendment) Bill 2019.

He said all stakeholders, including political parties, non-governmental organisations and government agencies, needed to work together to ensure it would be a success. The most important thing was for voters to update their address to their current residence, he said.Azhar added that there could be a potential 22.5 million voters in the next general election, compared to the 14.9 million voters that were eligible to vote in the 14th General Election.
