Kota Kinabalu: Restaurateurs are looking for cheaper suppliers before hiking the price of rice dishes as a last resort.

Sin Kee, a Bak Kut Teh spot popular among tourists at Gaya Street, will be maintaining their prices for at least three months.Owner, Chian Song Yong, said no doubt worries have gripped restaurant owners nationwide. “Although we have many peninsula and international tourist customers, competition is rife,” said the 73-year-old.
