Dua projek perintis robotik tangani Covid-19 - Utusan Digital

PUTRAJAYA: Dua projek perintis dikenal pasti Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi di bawah skim National Technology and Innovation Sandbox bagi menangani isu-isu berkaitan pandemik Covid-19.

Dua projek itu adalah Ethovent Ventilator Chamber iaitu alat bantuan pernafasan separa yang pertama dicipta di Malaysia serta robot penghantaran iaitu Robot MCK19 yang telah ditempatkan di Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia dan Taman Ekspo Pertanian Malaysia Serdang untuk mengurangkan bebanan petugas kesihatan.

Menterinya, Khairy Jamaluddin berkata, NTIS diterajui oleh kementeriannya dengan Pusat Inovasi dan Kreativiti Global Malaysia yang berperanan sebagai KetuaTaman Teknologi Malaysia , MIMOS Bhd. dan juga Perbadanan Pembangunan Teknologi Malaysia . Katanya, pihak sekretariat juga bekerjasama dengan Futurise Sdn. Bhd. untuk menyelaras dan memudah carapembiayaan yang ditawarkan di bawah MTDC iaitu Single Site Sandbox, Multiple“Bagi kategori Single Site Sandbox, pembiayaan adalah secara 100 peratus daripada kos yang layak. Bagi kategori Multiple Sites, Commercialisation dan Corporate Sandbox pula,maksimum yang telah ditetapkan,” katanya sewaktu berucap pada majlis pelancaran NTIS di MaGIC, Cyberjaya dekat sini hari ini.
