The Risers, which also includes a mobile app and portal, serves as a platform to ‘Engage’ with secondary school leaders and students nationwide, ‘Equip’ them with the knowledge and skills needed in school and within society and ‘Empower’ them to curate their own pathway in life, whilst giving back to society.

Through the ‘Engage, Equip and Empower’ approach, The Risers’ programmes and initiatives will focus on building school culture, community and identity by promoting positive values, skills and knowledge. “With education at the core of national development, partnerships between government and the private sector are essential to enrich the quality of education delivery and to realise the national education mission.

Back in March, Taylor's College together with JPWKL through the 'Bag to School' programme helped a total of 1,000 students and families from schools around Bangsar Pudu, Keramat and Sentul with school bags and writing equipment to prepare them to go back to school. The tuition sponsorship benefitted over 500 students who received free online tuition for English, Bahasa Melayu, mathematics and history, together with tuition credit for additional lessons in subjects of their choice, all amounting to RM2,000 per student.
