Dr Zaliha says Marburg virus not detected in Malaysia

Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa says efforts will be intensified to keep track of the development of the Marburg virus. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 25, 2023.

However, she said the Health Ministry will continue to take preventive measures to reduce the risk of the virus spreading. “Whenever there is news about the virus, we will carry out surveillance, especially on travellers from Africa.
