PETALING JAYA: The proposed amendments to the Road Transport Act 1987 to address reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be tabled at the Parliament sitting on July 13 after being endorsed by Cabinet, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong .
"These final amendments or Bill which should be endorsed by the Cabinet soon, will then be tabled in the upcoming Parliament sitting, which begins on July 13. Dr Wee added that the proposed amendments to the Act will also address the irresponsible use of 'basikal lajak' or micromobility vehicles which could cause accidents or even death.
