Dr M: Pakatan will continue to combat corruption despite decline in support

says the Pakatan Harapan government will continue with the agenda to combat corruption, despite the decline in public support for the government and himself.

Dr Mahathir said government officers who were used to getting"extra income" during the previous kleptocracy government might feel disappointed now that they are getting less income. Efforts to clean the country of corruption had to be continued, otherwise it would destroy the country, he added.

The public has no qualms in combating corruption as long as both parties—the giver and receiver—are brought to court. However of grave concerns are the ministers’ own integrity and moral rights are highly questionable.

Did merdeka research outcome for declining support inclusive its factor? Quite shocking if many dissatisfied because of government combating bribery or it just an assumption?
