Dr Mahathir Mohamad ketika menghadiri sesi dialog bersama Sekolah Kepimpinan Masa Depan Malaysia di Pusat Belia Antarabangsa, hari ini.
KUALA LUMPUR: Seseorang pemimpin perlu berani berdepan dengan cabaran dan menunjukkan kebolehan masing-masing agar tiada pihak cuba merebut kedudukannya sebagai pemimpin, kata Perdana Menteri Dr Mahathir Mohamad.“Antaranya ialah keberanian,” katanya ketika ucaptama sempena sesi dialog bersama Sekolah Kepimpinan Masa Depan Malaysia di Pusat Belia Antarabangsa, hari ini.
Hadir sama, isteri Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, Menteri Belia dan Sukan Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman dan Timbalannya Steven Sim Chee Keong.Hal ini, katanya, mereka akan berlawan sesama sendiri dan lupa dengan tugas masing-masing untuk memimpin. “Apabila pemimpin habiskan masa dan tenaga bersaing sesama sendiri maka mereka akan hilang keupayaan menyaingi.”
