At today’s launch of the Shared Prosperity Vision 2030, Dr Mahathir Mohamad reassured the Bumiputera community they would not be left behind.
In a speech launching the new policy, he said “the Key Performance Index must change to Key Results Indicator or a performance indicator that can be assessed, for example from the point of increasing income, job creation or value-added business and others.” It was important to set clear and comprehensive targets and indicators to ensure the success of the policy, which contains at least 10 main economic targets to be achieved by 2030.
