KUALA LUMPUR: The government can only retable a Bill to abolish the Anti-Fake News Act 2018 after mid August, says Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad .
"The Bill was passed by Dewan Rakyat on Aug 16, 2018, and as such, the process can only be done after Aug 16 this year," he said in a written reply to a question raised by Nik Mohamad Abduh Aziz in Parliament on Monday .
