Of the 30 children at the centre, 23 are studying at SR Lambaian Kasih in Sungai Penchala.“We only have one van to send them to the school, which is 12km away. We are in dire need of another van as it is sad to pack them all like sardines in one vehicle,” he said.Hussin said the six volunteers at the centre were given RM400 as a monthly allowance.He added that about 200kg of rice was needed every month.Children who have guardians will usually return home for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
