The project spans 25ha, will take five years to complete - DOE.

The Department of Environment is seeking public feedback on Lynas’ plan to construct a permanent disposal facility in the Gebeng Industrial Estate in Kuantan, Pahang.

onto DOE's websiteThe department, on its Facebook page, announced this and invited the public to give their feedback on the project which would see the disposal of radioactive water leach purification residue from the Lynas rare earth plant.
