PETALING JAYA: Doctors have slammed the government’s move to temporarily ban all sports and recreational activities in areas under the movement control order from tomorrow.

“It is irrational to blindly pursue a ‘duduk di rumah’ approach at this stage. This is detrimental to the physical and mental health of the people. Outdoor family-centered activities should be encouraged,” he told FMT. He stressed that sports and exercises must be done in compliance with public health advice, such as avoiding crowded areas and performing them individually or in a small group.

In a statement earlier today, the youth and sports ministry said all sports and recreational activities in commercial premises or facilities as well as in public and open areas were to be suspended.

When we r lead by irresponsible ppl who seem to just make decision even without giving a good thought whether it makes sense or not then we have to accept all this.ridiculous.

Green zones shd be ok but other zones..have to think twice given that many lack the discipline to adhere to SOP.

I am a frequent jogger at bkt.jalil park alone but i do see elderly people take the opportunity to gather and mingle some even walk 4 by 4 beside each other the 2m path hindering others.

Madness. Stupid SOPs. GTH

Hello doc. Apa u cakap memang betul.

Too late Dr., if I change my decision now I’ll look stupid.. I know I’m stupid, everybody know I’m stupid.. but I can’t look stupid!

This is not the Stephen chow from HK right

What we can expect from this stupid government?
